Getting ready to launch my pre-made and custom-order fused art glass pendant lighting for this Spring’s King Studio Tour (April 23-24. See here for more info).
I’ve sourced the trendy hardware myself so I can offer you a unique, complete product for your kitchen, bathroom, condo or any area requiring task or accent lighting.
My designs are statement pieces – a real step-up from what you see in (ho hum!) major retailers. Check out these sample photos below.

I’m delighted to be participating in this year’s show!
Come and see my newest works in my barn studio, which received a King Heritage Award in 2012 for its celebration of Adaptive Re-use.
(Our Spring flowers, certainly our tulips, should be in bloom.)
Hint: I’m focusing on lighting this year as a niche application for my glass art.
Gotham Glassworks is located at the rear of my home on Main Street in historic Schomberg.
There are over 30 artists for this year’s Tour – you can certainly plan a nice early Spring drive with the brochure and map in hand!
More information can be found on the ASK website here.
See you then!
I’m delighted to be participating in this 6th annual show!

I was delighted with the venue and excellent curation of this show at the Aurora Cultural Centre!
Abstract painter Miiko (Barbara Gravlin) and I were teamed up by the ACC and I must admit our works looked just lovely together (see slideshow below).
I have also never had so much of my portfolio, including both stained and fused glass, in one place at one time. Curator Clare Bolton just about cleaned out my studio/gallery as well as my own pieces from my home. You can see my earlier stained glass works that got me my start in this wonderful medium (in the “Red Room”) and my latest fused glass window and wall hangings and sculptural pieces (In the “Blue Room”).
I was especially impressed to see a municipally-owned institution like the ACC show such vision and risk taking to display and sell cutting-edge are like ours, that normally aficionados have to scout “The City” for.
Our artist talk, “Breaking the Rules” was a LOT of fun, and the afternoon sunlight illuminating the Red Gallery was magical.
Sales form this show have part proceeds going to the ACC. I am very happy to participate in this regard.
