Blue Spirit

(2009)

Cobalt Blue opalescent glass – a fabulous colour as a base for this fused art glass vessel series, enhanced with multi-colour semi-transparent green, yellow, ivory and blue accents, and confetti and frits for added flair.

All are food safe! Hand washing recommended – though Greg recommends they are beautiful as display art!

For your convenience, Gotham Glassworks offers several display stands models at additional cost.

– The large round ball surface can only be displayed as it has no flat surface and measures 20″ in diameter.
– Square platter is 16 1/2″ x 16 1/2″
– Rectangular platter is 15″ x 7 1/2″
– Small ball surface is 8″ in diameter
– Plates (2) are 8 1/2″ in diameter

Back by popular demand!

Based on your rave reviews of Red Fissure Bowl, Greg has produced two more art glass pieces based on this stunning black-on-clear theme with distinctive cherry red fissure-like streaks running throughout.

Look carefully at the fissures – they have a particular character all their own!

These contemporary pieces that will add an attractive focal point to your decor. Their light source will cascade lovely red reflections onto your table surface.

The disk measures 14″ in diameter and is designed for display directly in a back-lit window or cabinet (stand included).

The art glass platter measures 15 3/8″ x 7 3/4″. Its surface is food-friendly but hand wash only.

Something Blue Too

Mariner Blue opalescent glass forms the lovely light blue shade;  medium cathedral blue (transparent) weaves a whimsical striping effect through this elegant fused art-glass platter.

This follow-up work compliments the reviews Greg received on Something Blue.  Greg never duplicates his work but he clearly listened to his customers here: call this colour and style a “limited release”.
