Corporate Gifts + Awards

Have a corporate awards event coming up, and need a unique, memorial piece for each recipient?

How about a special gift for someone distinguished?

Look no further!

I’ve served many customers over the past 10 years in custom designing and making “one off”, unique gifts for one or several recipients.  And I’ve designed budget-conscious awards for larger numbers of recipients.

Please see the examples I show below.  Certainly you’ll want to talk to me about how to help make your award programme special, or how to distinguish your special gift recipient with something lasting and and as unique as their own recognition.

Please Contact me to discuss your needs!

And enjoy the photos below.  The “mosaic” galleries are a means to show additional images of these works, plus some “in process” shots on occasion to show you the diversity I can bring to a gift series!

Lighting Showcase!

If you’ve been watching my Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and indeed, my previous posts on this blog, (see left sidebar for all the links!) you’ll have figured out that I’m specializing in some very exciting lighting concepts!  And … I’m targeting Toronto’s diverse and rich restaurant industry.

Here’s what I mean, with more to follow below:

I’ve been doing lighting applications – both stained glass and fused –  for some time now.  In fact I have a category on this blog for my fused glass lighting works and another for my stained glass lighting works.  You may enjoy a look at how my style has evolved over the last 20 years. “Abstractions” at Aurora Cultural Centre

Abstractions Show & Sale Poster

I was delighted with the venue and excellent curation of this show at the Aurora Cultural Centre!

Abstract painter Miiko (Barbara Gravlin) and I were teamed up by the ACC and I must admit our works looked just lovely together (see slideshow below).

I have also never had so much of my portfolio, including both stained and fused glass, in one place at one time. Curator Clare Bolton just about cleaned out my studio/gallery as well as my own pieces from my home.  You can see my earlier stained glass works that got me my start in this wonderful medium (in the “Red Room”) and my latest fused glass window and wall hangings and sculptural pieces (In the “Blue Room”).

I was especially impressed to see a municipally-owned institution like the ACC show such vision and risk taking to display and sell cutting-edge are like ours, that normally aficionados have to scout “The City” for.

Our artist talk, “Breaking the Rules” was a LOT of fun, and the afternoon sunlight illuminating the Red Gallery was magical.

Sales form this show have part proceeds going to the ACC. I am very happy to participate in this regard.
