Be sure to check out “The Making Of …” this work.
The name says it all for this stunning 3 feet by 2 feet fused art panel!
These photos don’t pay justice to the striking colour depth of the red, orange and marigold opalescent glass used in this work. Black and select large coloured frit enhances the fissures for a textured effect.
Note on mounting/hanging: The artist recommends this panel be mounted on a wall to create a “floating” effect, using one of various hardware methods. Greg does not commit fused panels to a mounting method at time of completion; in consultation with the purchaser he will utilize a chosen method that best suits his/her design and viewing preferences.
Sophisticated and contemporary – your friends Dieter and Ursula will love it! Sushi or hors d’oeuvres will be irresistable.
Red Rider is 15″ x 7 1/2″ and is food safe. Greg can be commissioned to make a full set of custom platters and plates in this series – please Contact Greg directly.
For your convenience, Gotham Glassworks offers several display stands models at additional cost.
Back by popular demand!
Based on your rave reviews of Red Fissure Bowl, Greg has produced two more art glass pieces based on this stunning black-on-clear theme with distinctive cherry red fissure-like streaks running throughout.
Look carefully at the fissures – they have a particular character all their own!
These contemporary pieces that will add an attractive focal point to your decor. Their light source will cascade lovely red reflections onto your table surface.
The disk measures 14″ in diameter and is designed for display directly in a back-lit window or cabinet (stand included).
The art glass platter measures 15 3/8″ x 7 3/4″. Its surface is food-friendly but hand wash only.
A stunning and definitely one-of-a-kind stained glass “chandelier”, Greg used the copper foil method to create 4 unique panels making up the “cube”, suspended by its custom steel framework.
This work is suited well for a high-ceiling dining room, foyer or lobby space.
Goth Cube Chandelier measures 11.5″ x 11.5″ x 20.25″ (5.0 feet total height including metal support structure).
You may recognize the Aventurine Green and cathedral green glasses from Resisting Conformity, used here with a different flare and with a chrystalline finishing effect providing a whimsical translucence.
Morning Smile is 13″ wide x 34″ high.
