Schomberg Street Gallery Sneak-Peak!

I’ve been busy making some art glass pieces just for this weekend’s show in Schomberg.

Here are some sneak-peak images. Do come and see me at my booth!

You can see all the show details, participating artists (31 this year!) and download an artist location map here.

You can read more on what I wrote earlier on this 3rd annal event I Co-Chair with my good friend and artist Tom Wray here.

See you there!

Green Transom Window Series

(2011)

This 3-panel series really adds interest in the forms of texture and colour to our front living room.

It’s a relaxing, “green” inspired room and my wife Tracy wanted these pieces to add to this feeling.

Who am I to argue?

This series for our living room compliments a rich grenadine series I produced for our dining room.

Multiple fused glass techniques combine to create the visual interest apparent in these pieces.

Each panel in this case is 24″ x 12″

Do you have windows that can be enhanced by art? Talk to me.

Missing Piece

(2009)

Bright marigold fusing glass set in black fissures amongst an intriguing square pattern with a mystery!

A lovely, playful and whimsical display piece for Fall.

Missing Piece is 15″ in diameter and is food safe.

For your convenience, Gotham Glassworks offers several display stands models at additional cost.

To Be Square

(2009)

This square fused art glass vessel features persimmons opalescent, amber and green cathedral “checkers”, and is set on clear with assorted frits to “dirty” its appearance (how naughty of Greg).

To Be Square is 16″ x 16″ and is food safe.

For your convenience, Gotham Glassworks offers several display stands models at additional cost.

Blue Spirit

(2009)

Cobalt Blue opalescent glass – a fabulous colour as a base for this fused art glass vessel series, enhanced with multi-colour semi-transparent green, yellow, ivory and blue accents, and confetti and frits for added flair.

All are food safe! Hand washing recommended – though Greg recommends they are beautiful as display art!

For your convenience, Gotham Glassworks offers several display stands models at additional cost.
